Moonraker - Ian Fleming Very fun adventure story. I was engaged throughout, but there were certain scenes, such as the gambling scene in the beginning, and the action/adventure sequence leading up to the climax, that were page-turning thrills. As a newbie to Ian Fleming and his James Bond books, I was surprised and impressed by the humanity of his characters. Yes, there were fast cars, big wads of money, cigars, drinking, and beautiful women- but Bond's relationship to those glamorous-seeming privileges depict a really vulnerable and earnest human being.
