Fantastic spec fiction read. Characters were good, the speculative element was well developed and concerned one of my favorite subjects, linguistics. The strongest point in this book was the artful sculpting of plotting and pacing. It's probably one of the best plotted books I've ever read. I wasn't sure who to trust or how things would turn out right up until the end.
