Enjoyable reading experience. Nice sense of mystery, rich, sensual detail, and artful theming. The climax of the novel was exciting and satisfying. The denouement was an odd mix of too much and not enough information to wrap up the story. I'm very picky about denouements- this one wasn't terrible, it just wasn't as good as the rest of the book.
